multifaceted maps

Here is an assortment of cartography projects from school, work, and my free time. They demonstrate a range of map styles and and approaches. I love showing my audience something unexpected and new by taking a fresh look at the data. Whether that be the conversion of D.C. state avenues into state polygons or a new take on major ocean currents as being a lens through which we can can view history. And of course, I never tire of a good ol' beautiful ground shade relief map.
